If you read on, don’t say I didn’t warn you!
This blog is going to be dedicated to the wonderful support network that I find rallying around me. Speaking as person with a chronic illness I just want to say thank you. Thank for you reading this blog. Every person who reads this, gains awareness about POTS Syndrome and can help spread the word to others. Awareness is going to be the key in helping people with POTS feel better one day, I’m just sure of it! Every one of you who has “liked” a post on Facebook, left a comment, sent a message, shared a post, said “I’m here if you need me”, or even if you’ve just spent some time reading this and learning more about POTS Syndrome, you have absolutely NO IDEA how much that helps a person who is ill. Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in a rut, especially when you’re having a symptom flare up. It’s so easy to turn inward and get lost in the depression that (let’s be honest here…) can be overbearing sometimes. Every time this happens to me it’s IMPOSSIBLE for me to stay in that place, because of YOU. Because of you all I know I’m not alone. I know I am loved and supported and cared for and have shoulders that I can cry on. This has been a terrible, horrible, depressing year for me, but there has been some light, and that has been directly from you. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thanks for showing me such love and support through the past 7 months. Here’s hoping that in the next 7 months I’ll be thanking you all from a place of health and recovery! Happy Holidays!
Here are some of the wonderful people I’m talking about…
